Matthies Builders Inc. is a custom homebuilder in the western suburbs of Chicago including Hinsdale, Downers Grove and Clarendon Hills. We specialize in building single-family homes with architectural significance that fit well within the historic villages they are built.

We are a boutique builder that only builds a few homes a year, which allows us to pay close attention to every detail and cater to our client's needs.

While working for clients we act as a general contractor and construction consultant. We oversee every detail of design, permitting, and construction as well as assisting with the many selections necessary in building a true custom home.
